The picture above is a shelf on my cupboard in my wardrobe(yes). And it’s rather dark with the ceiling lights turned off. I wanted a quick solution to light the spot up.
Cheryl told me that Daiso has offerings for LED strips (or something along that line). And off to hunt for it we did. And we came across this.
Yup, battery type decoration lights, in all it’s glory for $2. Our initial skepticism about the brightness of the lights were quelled when a lady buying the same lights said that it was bright and she was rather happy with it and was looking to get another set. <Bingo>
Then we added this hook thingy to the cart.
It has a double sided tape thing on one end, and a hook which you can manipulate/force down to lock the cable/cord in.
Pop in a little battery and off to work, well actually it was just hooking it up and sticking the battery console using a double sided tape/3M tape to the side. Stick up the cord hook thing to the roof of the shelf and voila! It’s Christmas in a cupboard!
Yes, I cracked it. Too strong from last week’s gym workout.
And voila! The finished product! Indeed, bright enough to my liking, cheap enough to my wallet’s liking. And the best part. If it spoils, just replace it with another.
- LED Deco lights(Daiso) – $2
- Cord Hook(Daiso) – $2
- Two AA Batteries(Anywhere) – $2
- Double sided tape/3M tape – $3-4
Now, go light em up!
Well not much has changed on the room aspect but minute changes here and there makes it all sweeter.
Spot any difference compared to the old layout?
Not much to be honest.
Other than a little shifting here and there and an addition to the headphone range nothing’s changed.
Pick your poison~
Taking a leaf out of a good buddy of mine’s book, the iMac is now running 24/7. Here, rocking out tunes from the Sucker Punch Soundtrack.
Other than a shift of orientation for the vaio, nothing much has changed. A little addition has been added in though.
Yepp can you spot the new bamboo tablet?
And of course, a konnext sync charger that organises my charging wires and makes well all my little devices look neater on the table.
Thats basically it for the room updates!
Hi, i’d thought i do a little update on the room, since there was well .. pretty much a MAJOR change to the workspace layout. Check it out!
Can you spot the difference between this room and the previous layout?
If you are keen in observing, yes! i got an extension done for the workspace table out!
And also a few new additions~ Like the Macbook Pro!
The Vaio now rests on the printer with the Razer Set-Up connected to it. Of which i mainly use for msn and photoshop.
The iMac area has also been refreshed with lotsa new stuff!
Notably here is the new Mackie Studio Monitors~ mm mmm, full detailed sound.
i Got myself a DJ-Set! Here is the Vestax VCI-100 coupled with the Macbook Pro running Tracktor. Which means when i want to use the set, i’d move the Macbook Pro from its usual position onto the laptop stand, and back whenever i’m done! (Convenient!)
Alrighty then, i’m feeling a little bit tired today and just wanted to put out this update. I’ll leave you guys to wander around the workspace then!
Yes! you didnt see the date wrong, it says 17th May. Well this shots of my room, well more of workspace then was for the submission of OTACOOL 3, a magazine that showcases otaku related workspaces around the world.
They did say everyone would get chosen, but apparently mine wasn’t T.T due to some reasons, oh well. what are you going to do? sad sad.
Anyhoo. Here are the shots of the room then!
Stitch! My favourite character!
Many Anime Girlies~
Humping Usb Dog~
21.5 inch iMac and M-audio Keyboard~
An always crashing Vaio CS
That was the room then! Stay tuned for more room updates
